Welcome to New INPGA Member Businesses

INPGA welcomes our newest member businesses, High Mountain Nursery in Draper, Utah and Cedar Mountain Perennials in Athol, Idaho.

High Mountain Nursery, formerly known as Lone Peak Conservation Nursery, raises low-cost seedlings for conservation purposes.  Presently, the nursery produces one million seedlings yearly on the 35-acre farm.  Their plant list includes more than 90 species of native and adapted trees, shrubs, grasses and wetland plants.  This diverse list includes plants for restoration, conservation, and enhancement.  High Mountain Nursery produces plants from identified seed sources.  These seeds have genetic traits that help the plants adapt to specific geographic locations.  Genetic traits are influenced by elevation, precipitation, soil conditions, and temperatures.  Each location has a unique environmental feature that affects the plant's ability to grow in that area.

High Mountain Nursery provides special growing services for customers.  A customer may collect seeds from an area and request the nursery to grow a specific number of plants. Following a two-year growing cycle, the customer then may purchase the plants needed. This promotes effective management of supply and labor resources.

High Mountain Nursery produces both container and bareroot seedlings so that customers can plan projects to meet the planting site goals.

Cedar Mountain Perennials is a family owned and operated nursery established in 2009 on 20 acres just outside of Athol, Idaho.  The nursery specializes in native plants for the Inland Northwest and offers a wide variety of wildflowers as well as some shrubs and trees.  Other services include garden consultation and contract growing.  Visit the nursery or look for their booth at the Kootenai County or Sandpoint Farmer's Market.
